Hello, my name is Andie Kalifer and I am a Holistic Nutritionist and Certified Nutritional Practitioner, based out of Toronto. A holistic nutritionist takes every aspect of a person’s life into consideration when addressing health-related issues. These factors include lifestyle, mental state, environment and spiritual beliefs. I truly look at food as medicine and believe that whatever we eat and apply to our bodies, will manifest into how we feel, how we look and what we think.
I am passionate about nutrition and understand that every individual is uniquely built, internally and externally, and therefore should be treated with personalized nutritional needs. I want to spread my knowledge and educate others on how nutrition can not only be enjoyable and accessible, but delicious too!
My philosophy is simple. I believe in leading a plant-based, whole food lifestyle. What does this entail? Eating organic as much as much as possible. Emphasizing the consumption of nutritious foods that are good for the mind, body and soul. I look at ingredients rather than labels. No intense dieting, but a balanced lifestyle. Move your body daily. If you feel like pizza, have a pizza. Spend time in nature with your shoes off. Hydration is key.
I am passionate about living a lifestyle that’s holistic, natural, organic and supports the environment around me. I believe that through modern technology and advancements, we live in a society where majority of companies prioritize making a profit, thus putting the health of consumers as a secondary focus. We have lost touch with nature, and rely on convenience to get us through each day. There is an opportunity to make healthier decisions, and you should understand how to do so.
As a nutritionist, I do not believe in a one-size fits all method. I will work with you to discover the root cause leading to imbalances in your life. Sometimes all it takes is simple tweaks in your everyday lifestyle to see powerful changes on the inside and outside. Common areas where I can help you include - digestive issues, auto-immune conditions, skin concerns, hormonal imbalances, burnout and adrenal fatigue. A lot of the time, these common concerns can be healed with simple diet and lifestyle modifications.

Hello! My name is Amy Tanaka and I am a Registered Massage Therapist at Well BYND. Helping people is my passion, and my goal is to develop genuine connections with my patients in order to make personalized and valuable improvements in their well-being.
Massage therapy treatments involve an array of manual techniques aimed to reduce perceived pain, release tight musculature, promote relaxation, and so much more. There are a variety of methods and benefits of massage therapy, but my approach is always a patient-first focus. I prioritize listening to my patients’ concerns, and using my expertise to specifically address them in a comprehensive treatment plan.
With a Bachelor’s Degree in Physical and Health Education, I have in-depth knowledge on human anatomy, exercise programs, and injury treatment and prevention. This level of education gave me the tools to provide patients with exercises, stretches, and self-care that can enhance the benefits of treatments outside the clinical space.
I have experience treating a variety of conditions including TMJ dysfunction, chronic pain and stress, headaches, acute injuries, and lymph congestion. I also specialize in treating pregnant and postnatal patients, a particular passion of mine.

Hi I’m Courtney! My journey working in the health and wellness field began in 2011. As an athlete myself, I was passionate about fitness and completed schooling in Fitness and Health Science. This allowed me to work one-on-one with clients to achieve their goals. Feeling called to learn more about hands on healing, I went back to school for a Bachelors in Athletic Therapy. This combined my love for sports with my passion to heal the body. Throughout this schooling, I longed for a deeper understanding of the body and how it heals. It was then that I would meet an Osteopathic Practitioner who would inspire me to return to school, and complete an intensive 4-year program at the Canadian Academy of Osteopathy in Hamilton. I had found my calling.
Osteopathy’s approach to looking at the body with such an in-depth knowledge of anatomy, physiology and collective mechanics, was unparalleled to anything I had learned prior. I was able to obtain results with patients like never before.
I am a licensed member of the Ontario Osteopathic Association (OOA/OSTCAN), and excited to meet new patients and help them to find and remove the root cause of their pain. In my spare time I love doing yoga, pilates, meditation and exploring the outdoors.
What is Osteopathy?
Osteopathy is a gentle form of manual therapy based on the philosophy that the structure of your body directly affects how it will function, and that it functions collectively as a whole. This means if there is a restriction or pain in one area, then all other parts of the body will be affected in some way. My role as an osteopathic practitioner is to find the root cause of this restriction by using an in depth knowledge of anatomy, physiology and collective mechanics. Osteopathy follows a belief in the body’s ability to self-regulate and self-heal. It focuses on facilitating the health of joints and muscles, helping to strengthen the framework of the body, ensuring optimal function of the nervous, lymphatic and circulatory systems.
